Services
All birthing people deserve access to doula care.
If you are concerned about affording a doula, please reach out.
Birth Doula
As your birth doula, your wellbeing is my first priority. In this time of uncertainty, prenatal preparation is key. We'll begin with two prenatal meetings to talk about your options, practice comfort techniques, and discuss the information you'll need to make choices that work for you.
During labor and birth, I stay with you, providing emotional and physical support and helping to facilitate your communications with medical staff whether or not I can be with you in person. When labor is most challenging, I help you remember your goals, keep track of the information you need, and offer continuous and calm presence.
After your birth, I visit you at home. I offer time to review and reflect on your experiences during pregnancy and birth. I'm available to answer questions and provide resources for recovery, breastfeeding, and additional support.
Fee: 1% annual income up to $1400

Postpartum Doula
As your postpartum doula, my job is to help you negotiate the changes in your family after birth. We may meet before your birth to makes plans for after labor. If we don't, we'll begin by talking about your birth experience and your family's needs in the weeks following birth.
During the time I work with you, I am always available to listen without judgment to your feelings about birth, about new parenthood, and about your new little one. I offer support, information, and referrals to help with infant care, breastfeeding if applicable, household organization, and your recovery.
The work I do during my visits varies from family to family. I may work with you for a few hours each day, a few afternoons a week, or stay overnight as needed. My goal is to work myself out of a job -- to help you find balance and confidence in your new family.
Fee: $30/hour day, $45/hr night
